Theresa is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, with over a decade of extensive experience in her field. Having earned her degree from the University College of Cork in Ireland (2012), Theresa has cultivated a rich professional background in diverse healthcare settings spanning Ireland, the UK, and Australia. Theresa's broad interest in healthcare has led her to undertake further studies, including reflexology training, through which she achieved a Practitioners Diploma in Clinical Reflexology with Distinction (2018). Theresa has also completed further studies into the Development of Digital Healthcare Communities (2022).
Theresa has worked with older adults in physical rehabilitation settings, acute post stroke care, school-based services and most recently as a mobile therapist servicing children & families in remote areas. Theresa's areas of clinical interest include play development in children, self-regulation skills, vocational rehabilitation and young adult transitional support from school services.
Theresa's passion for paediatrics has been a cornerstone of her career. She has dedicated significant time and energy to working with children, harnessing her expertise to address a wide spectrum of developmental challenges. Her approach to paediatric occupational therapy is characterized by creativity and a keen understanding of the importance of regulation to support all areas of child development.
Outside of work you will find Theresa spending time with her husband and four boys, at the beach or most often at the soccer pitch!
